Fujitsu says it is building an end-to-end cloud portfolio of services for business.

As part of its effort to build an end-to-end cloud services portfolio for business, information and communication technology (ICT) company Fujitsu has launched Fujitsu Cloud End User Protect, an offering which leverages messaging and web security from Symantec (SYMC) to help reduce risks, costs and complexities of IT security and compliance.

Fujitsu Cloud End User Protect is designed as an end-to-end security solution for medium to large businesses and provides requirements assessment,  development of security measures, rapid implementation and roll-out capability, and on-going services.

Fujitsu Cloud End User Protect includes email security, encryption, and management from Symantec Email Security.cloud and Symantec Enterprise Vault.cloud service offerings for messaging security.

The launch builds Fujitsu's more than 40 years of experience in protecting customers from security threats, according to EVP Cameron McNaught says .

"Our strategic partnership with Symantec gives customers the benefit of our combined expertise, offering the highest standards of service to meet the diverse needs of end users and keep organizational data secure," McNaught said in a statement.

The company said Fujitsu Cloud End User Protect is delivered via a cloud-based model to help eliminate capital expenditure and reduce the need for new hardware or software.

Fujitsu has a partner program geared toward value-added resellers (VARs).
