Asigra Expands Hybrid Partner Training and Certification Program
Asigra has updated its Hybrid Partner Training and Certification Program to assists managed service providers (MSPs) with lowering their operating costs and better support their customers.
The Toronto-based cloud backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions provider said its technical training enhancements are part of a certification program that is designed to teach service providers and their customers about its products.
Training and certification program participants are supported by Asigra product experts who “assist in streamlining deployments for the partner organization’s customer base,” Asigra said.
Also, these participants can now access:
- E-learning for Asigra partners.
- E-learning for customers.
- In-class instructor-led training.
- Pre-sales training.
- Virtual instructor-led training
The Hybrid Partner Training and Certification Program features multiple certifications and levels too, including:
- Asigra Certified Associate (ACA).
- Asigra Certified Engineer (ACE).
- Asigra Certified Professional (ACP).
An Asigra spokesperson told Talkin’ Cloud that partners can access e-learning modules to teach their customers about Asigra Cloud Backup as well.
“[Asigra training] sessions provided answers to all of my technical and service-related questions and gave insight into complicated real-world scenarios. They enable our team to deliver a first-class customer support experience,” Tomasz Krupa, a service desk technician for disaster recovery solutions company Databarracks, said in a prepared statement.

Ultimately, Asigra said its training and certification program benefits all technical and sales individuals because it gives them educational tools that they can use to “gain critical skills and techniques to optimize installations for consistently high-quality service delivery.”
Asigra continues to focus on the managed services market, which is reflected in some of its recent moves.
For example, Asigra Cloud Backup earlier this month became the first backup and recovery solution to support Docker containers.
And when Asigra Cloud Backup is used with Docker containers, both MSPs and enterprises can become more efficient and lower their operating costs, Asigra Executive Vice President Eran Farajun said.
“Asigra Cloud Backup is the first and only enterprise data protection platform to protect Docker containers, including data containers and externally mounted data sources, anywhere in the enterprise, along with leveraging Docker containerization technology to make it easier to protect enterprise data, both on the LAN and in public clouds like AWS and Azure,” he told Talkin’ Cloud.
