ADTRAN WLAN Solutions General Manager Mads Lillelund says these updates make it easier for MSPs and resellers to enter the cloud Wi-Fi services market.

ADTRAN (ADTN) on Monday announced new upgrades to its virtual wireless LAN (vWLAN) solution for managed services providers (MSPs) and resellers.

New vWLAN platform enhancements include higher availability for always-on access, a new graphical user interface (GUI) and customizable dashboards for both real-time and historical views of network health.

The company said upgrades will enhance channel partner services portfolios and simplify cloud WiFi management services.

ADTRAN WLAN Solutions General Manager Mads Lillelund said in a prepared statement that these updates make it easier for MSPs and resellers to enter the cloud WiFi services market.

“VWLAN now offers a unique combination of business continuity support, flexibility and customization that fits the distinctive business needs of the managed service provider,” he said. “As a result, these providers can achieve greater control, react to issues faster and optimize network performance.”

“As our partner’s business models continue to evolve, so will the programs that ADTRAN puts in place to help them be successful,” ADTRAN Enterprise Networks Channel Sales Vice President Ted Cole told Talkin’ Cloud. “We are committed to enabling solution providers to offer a complete transition path as business demands change.”

ADTRAN this month also launched ProCare Help Desk for resellers and MSPs offering WLAN managed services. The additional offering expanded the company’s ProServices portfolio.
