3CLogic, which provides inbound, outbound and blended cloud-based call center solutions, yesterday launched its Athena Reporting framework and Iris scripting engine as part of its 5.0 software release. 3CLogic’s Chief Customer Officer Robert Killory said in a statement that the software upgrades were deployed to make it easier for call centers to replace traditional on-premise solutions with cloud options.

“Our ongoing mission is to allow contact center executives to focus on what matters – their business. With these new features and enhancements, 3CLogic changes the current passive reporting functions with customizable tools and real-time scripts, allowing contact centers to analyze and adapt,” Killory said.

3CLogic deploys its contact center solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and claims 100 percent uptime, thanks in part to its use of Virtual Telephony Application Grid (V-TAG) technology. With V-Tag, 3CLogic creates personalized networks that are designed to deliver “more scalability at a lower cost.”

3CLogic’s 5.0 software, meanwhile, was created for call centers that are looking for a competitive advantage over their rivals, according to the company. The software upgrades are designed to help call centers provide better customer experiences, upsell their products and services and improve their first call-resolution levels.

The latest 3CLogic software release includes:

  • Athena Reporting framework for real-time reporting analytics

  • Iris Scripting engine to create, edit and manage call center scripts

  • New metric and trend dashboards

  • Call conferencing and transfer functionalities

  • Incoming call messaging features

  • IVR design upgrades

Also, 3CLogic plans to bolster its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings. Last month, 3CLogic raised $4.2 million in Series B funding (bringing 3CLogic’s total funding to $9.2 million) that it could use to expand its SaaS offerings and launch joint marketing programs with its channel partners.
