UK channel sales and marketing specialist Purechannels is expanding into the US following a period of rapid growth.

Over the past year, Purechannels says it has seen a 50% uplift in new client acquisition. It has also tripled its number of employees.

Purechannels CEO Glenn Robertson said the US move is in response to demand for the company’s services. He added there is “a gap in the market for dedicated channel sales and marketing agency activity for the channel in North America.”

“We’ve always served clients internationally from our UK offices, working with some of the world’s major IT vendors and channel companies. We provide clients with much-needed creativity and strategic thinking. [This] is aligned to output and results — something we see that is often missing in channel campaigns.”

Robertson said he believed Purechannels is the first agency of its kind to expand from the UK to the US.

North American President

Leading the US operations from Purechannels’ new North American headquarters in North Carolina is channel executive Mike Ammann.

“Mike has a great channel pedigree,” said Robertson.

Ammann has previously had channel sales roles as Fujitsu, Dell, Hitachi and Quantum. He has “been an admirer of Purechannels for years.”

“They have always put out quality campaigns and content,” Ammann said. “When Glenn reached out to me about expanding their efforts and creating a global brand it was a no-brainer. I think of Purechannels as removing business friction for vendors, distributors and partners.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in March.

Ammann said when companies like Purechannels can “grow your business and take cycles off your plate, you jump at it. I look forward to sharing our capabilities with the market and proving how our models and offerings help them increase revenue.”

“We’ve seen such huge momentum over the last 12 months. We decided our clients would benefit from a local presence,” added Daren Bach, CMO, Purechannels.

“The US IT channel is built on strong relationships, and now, by having local presence, we can provide greater stability, security and a more intimate level of support. As the US slowly starts to open up again after COVID-19, we feel this is just the beginning for Purechannels in North America.”
