Following a U.S. rollout earlier this month, Atos is releasing Unify Office by RingCentral UCaaS in the United Kingdom.

The UCaaS offering allows businesses to communicate and collaborate with voice, video and team messaging capabilities. They can do so from anywhere and on any device via a single enterprise solution.

Mark Smith is chief marketing officer at Atos Unify.

“Unify Office by RingCentral has no barrier to entry,” he said. “Partners do not need to stand up new support teams. That is something bundled in with the solution similar to phone minutes, making it easy for customers to understand and get up running quickly and remotely. We think that is especially important as many partners are time rich and cash poor at the moment.”

Customers can migrate at their own pace from traditional on-premises telephony systems to Unify Office by RingCentral. They can also continue using their existing Atos Unify OpenScape Desk phones with the UCaaS offering.

Unify Office integrates with existing business applications for specific custom workflow.

European Perspective

Atos Unify has worked with RingCentral to bring a European perspective to the solution so it brings the best technology together with European data protection and security standards,” Smith said.

Atos and RingCentral also built smooth migration tools for existing Atos Unify OpenScape customers, he said. Partners can roll over existing settings to Unify Office by RingCentral.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top UCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

Customers contract directly with RingCentral in a master agent model, Smith said. That helps partners make the most of the market opportunity.

The UK has a “rich ecosystem” of cloud communications offers, he said. But it lacks solutions that combine message, video and phone. Furthermore, it has lacked those that leverage technologies such as WebRTC and provide high data security standards.

“We are now live with Unify Office by RingCentral in Austria, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, the UK and the United States,” Smith said. “We are looking forward to more European and Asia Pacific launches in 2021.”

“At RingCentral, we’re focused on bringing the benefits of cloud communications to businesses everywhere,” said Anand Eswaran, RingCentral’s president and CEO.
