Westcoast veteran exec Alex Tatham is returning to the company after nine months at a UK channel partner.

Tatham left the UK-based distribution giant in July 2022 after 14 years, most recently serving as managing director. He took up the role of global client and marketing director at large networking reseller, NSC Global.

But last month, he announced he was leaving NSC Global, not disclosing any further details. At the time he said: “It has been a learning experience with great colleagues, huge amounts of change and lots of new things to deal with… I look forward to whatever the next chapter brings.”

Now, in a new LinkedIn post, Tatham revealed he was returning to the Westcoast fold as an executive director.

“I’m back!” he announced. He went on to describe “a memorable and learning experience” with NSC Global.

He will now re-join Westcoast “with enhanced knowledge of the channel and wide remit to continue Britain’s largest privately owned IT company’s growth in the UK and Europe. More vendors! More customers! And boundless enthusiasm await!

He said he was “looking forward to engaging with you all.”

Alex Tatham Is EMEA Channel Influencer

Tatham is a well-known figure in the UK channel. He joined Westcoast in 2009 as sales and marketing director before becoming managing director in 2014. The company became the UK’s largest privately owned IT business and technology distributor during Tatham’s tenure at the company It most recently posted £3.7 billion in revenue.

Tatham is featured in Channel Futures’ list of 2023 Channel Influencers EMEA.
