Extreme Networks recently honored Jenne, ScanSource and other high-performing distributors.

The vendor handed out 26 awards to its top channel partners. Distributors, service providers, VARs and other partners featured among the top Extreme Network partners.

Jenne won Americas Distributor of the Year for a consecutive time. ScanSource, which did not appear in last year’s awards, earned the Momentum Distributor of the Year award for the Americas. Tech Data, on the other hand, disappeared from the list.

Kentucky-based IT solution provider Step CG enjoyed a strong year, winning U.S. Enterprise and Growth Partner of the Year and U.S. Service Provider of the Year. And CDW demonstrated its public sector prowess, winning top Americas SLED (state, local and education) partner.

Extreme announced the winners at its annual partner conference.

Extreme Networks chief revenue officer Joe Vitalone praised partners for their response to COVID-19. The vendor also made adjustments in 2020, delaying its partner certification deadlines and launching a new mesh network solution.

Other Changes from 2019

Extreme last year bought Aerohive Networks and enhanced its partner program to drive more managed services.
