CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — Ingram Micro has opened its free Xvantage digital platform to select vendors working with the distributor in the U.S., Canada and Germany.

Launched late last year, Ingram Micro Xvantage aims to offer a shared experience for associates, MSPs, VARs and vendors. The new features include tools such as a dashboard that gives vendors real-time visibility into their Ingram Micro business, and personalized interaction for account teams and resources, including access to Ingram Micro’s engineers, marketing teams and demand planning. Vendors also have visibility to data, including performance and velocity of channel activity for real-time business planning.

Another update to Xvantage is the Document Hub (a catalog ingestion pipeline) where one can upload data from any format or taxonomy and automatically formatted, categorized and translated into a standard SKU format that customers can quote and order from.

Ingram Micro plans to add more vendors weekly and expand the platform to vendors and customers in all geographies by the end of the year.

Ingram Micro Xvantage is powered by AI and is designed to be self-learning. Sanjib Sahoo, the distributor’s executive vice president and chief digital officer, has said the platform will eventually give Ingram Micro’s partners, vendors and employees “everything Ingram” in one interface.

The announcement was made Monday at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo and MSP Summit.
