“The launch of IBM MaaS360 on the Cloud Marketplace ensures our partners continue to get access to best-in-class, AI-powered security services as well as the ability to offer end-to-end solutions,” said Renee Bergeron, senior vice president, Global Cloud Channel, Ingram Micro. “Today’s launch also speaks to our commitment to drive the adoption of innovative cloud technologies by providing our partners with industry-leading solutions.”

MaaS360 supports all major endpoint operating systems including, Apple iOS and macOS, Google Android, and Microsoft Windows — from legacy Windows XP SP3 to today’s Windows 10. With Watson, the cloud UEM delivers cognitive insights, contextual analytics, and cloud-sourced benchmarking capabilities, IBM said.

“Through leveraging the power of MaaS360 with Watson, IT leaders can proactively manage and secure endpoints with actionable insights that maximize the return on investment for their mobile strategies,” said Carola Cazenave, vice president of security routes to market at IBM. “Ingram Micro Cloud’s robust platform technology and unparalleled marketplace reach enables us and solution providers to easily bring cognitive endpoint management to more customers of all sizes around the world.”

For U.S.-based Ingram Micro partners, the distributor is offering a free, 30-day trial of IBM MaaS360. In 2018, Ingram Micro will expand the availability of MaaS360 outside the U.S., the distributor said.

Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace is an automated e-commerce platform that offers more than 200 vetted cloud services to more than 44,000 resellers around the world, and claims 2 million managed seats, worldwide.

IBM launched its cloud marketplace in 2014 to bring together its portfolio of cloud capabilities and third-party services from its global partner ecosystem for three key user groups within the enterprise — developers, IT managers and business leaders. In February 2016, the vendor launched the cloud data and analytics marketplace for developers, an expansion of its Cloud Data Services portfolio.
