D&H Distributing has hired Ingram Micro and Jenne vet Ken Fabozzi as its senior director of VAR field sales.

Fabozzi has more than three decades of experience developing business in the reseller community. He previously was vice president of U.S. sales for Jenne, and director of sales – data center, for Ingram Micro.

“D&H’s dedication to the SMB marketplace is beyond admirable, and I’m excited to extend my long-standing relationships and channel expertise toward supporting this VAR profile,” he said. “I look forward to outstanding results with D&H in creating growth for the company and building value for the resellers who depend on their partnership to aid their success.”

Fabozzi will oversee business associated with several major D&H vendor partners that focus on SMBs, according to the company. He will work to expand D&H’s reseller base and service its existing base of customers across this prime D&H target market, the company said.

“As D&H continues to serve a greater volume of resellers in the SMB arena, we will look to enhance our investments in personnel, programs, and reseller engagement opportunities to accommodate and stimulate that growth,” said Peter DiMarco, D&H’s vice president of VAR sales. “We welcome Ken Fabozzi as part of the initiative to incorporate effective, knowledgeable professionals that can strengthen our commitment to the channel, bringing with them skills, authority and proven industry relationships.”

In May, D&H announced a new series of investments that include significant investments that impact the channel. Also this summer, it and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced the Heighten and Elevate Revenue Opportunity (HERO) program to help grow the vendor’s SMB market presence through solution providers.
