In fact, the application includes a question about whether a particular master agent or distributor was instrumental in making the project a success. If they were, they’ll be recognized if the project is named a winner. In addition, the master agent or distributor who is named most often will be honored individually.

CF: How will winners be selected?

DR: Judging will be done by members of the Channel Futures and Channel Partners editorial staffs as well as members of our advisory boards. Finalists will be invited to attend the awards reception, where the winner in each of the 10 categories will be named. The judges will also name two special award winners from among all the entries: the Virtual Virtuoso, for excellence in retail, health care or another vertical; and the Digi Master, for the partner entry that exhibited maximum digital-transformation brilliance. All winners will receive a trophy onstage during the awards ceremony.

CF: How do partners enter – and is there a cost?

DR: There’s never a cost to apply for a Channel Partners award. Applications can be downloaded or completed online.

CF: When is the deadline for submitting applications?

DR: The deadline has been extended from Feb. 15 to March 1. But that’s no reason to dawdle.
