Archive360, the email archive migration software provider, on Tuesday announced its Accelerate Channel Program with incentives and tools to drive more adoption of Microsoft Office 365 and next-generation cloud-archive services.

Archive360's Bob DeStenoThe program offers a complete “migration in a box” service for partners that need to migrate customer data from aging archives into Office 365 and leading cloud archive providers, increasing potential revenues up to four times, according to Archive360.

Bob DeSteno, Archive360’s co-founder and CEO, tells Channel Partners a shift in the market prompted the need for the new program. Companies no longer are moving from one on-premises legacy archive to another, and instead are moving to the cloud, mostly Office 365, he said.

“The real target market for us are the customers moving to Office 365,” he said. “Because of that, over the past six months to a year we’ve been targeting some of the larger (Microsoft partners), particularly in the United States. Our message is to this community is [not to] think of email archive migrations as a roadblock. Come to Archive360, we can do it for you and you can make three or four times the revenue on these applications. Contract with us and make a healthy margin on it. We can do the migration for you with a partner where we’re just enabling the partner to be able to do the migration.”{ad}

Archive360’s flagship product, Archive2Anywhere, delivers archive migrations with verifiable data fidelity and defensible chain of custody reporting, according to the company. It delivers its services through a network of specialist partners.

Archive360's Bill Tolson“The partner program that we’re announcing is really aimed at attracting a larger ecosphere of partners that have stayed away from this kind of thing in the past, partners that make a living from migrating Exchange up to Office 365, but they’ve not really been addressing the whole archive,” said Bill Tolson, Archive360’s vice president of marketing. “We’re trying to expand that by showing them that we have these really interesting and new capabilities now that make that part of their overall job for the customer much, much easier. And they can make three to four times the revenue that they would on just the Office 365 email migration itself.”

While adoption was initially driven by the SMB sector, it’s now being seen across all business sizes and verticals, according to Archive360. With the growing number of companies moving their email systems to Office 365, “we want to empower partners to really take advantage of that and make it easier for them,” he said.

“With our technology, we are the only archive migration provider out there who can guarantee and say that when we move the data … we’re able to do it in legally defensible manners so that we can present to a court if we needed to that none of the original content was changed in any way,” Tolson said. “Companies have to be very careful in how they move or do anything with their data. They need to make sure they’re not changing anything that could put them in an e-discovery situation.”
