TBI, the Chicago-based master agent, just relocated its main office to accommodate its growing staff headcount.

The company boasts about 230 employees and expects to hire at least 20 more. TBI officially moved into the new location on June 21 and will host a grand opening on July 17.

“TBI has experienced incredible success over the last few years, and we need more space to accommodate our growing workforce,” TBI president Geoff Shepstone said. “We secured a bigger space and spent the last several months building it out to our specifications. It’s modern and functional, where TBI employees can enjoy the most up-to-date amenities and technology in an atmosphere that lends itself to creativity, productivity and fun.”

The new office includes a video studio and a Technology Evaluation Center for training and proof-of-concept testing. TBI chose 8×8 to deliver its UCaaS, saying that the vendor meets requirements for keeping up with a mobile workforce. The company’s previous ShoreTel system had finished its life cycle.

Shepstone said TBI attributes its success to its people. The company announced several promotions two weeks ago.

“We need a convenient location for both city and suburban employees, an atmosphere that fosters creativity and teamwork, and an environment that inspires all of us to do our best work. I think we’ve built it,” he said. “I am certain that the new office space gives all our employees – current and future – an opportunity to prosper.”

We welcomed TBI’s Bryan Reynolds to our podcast this week to talk about the company’s recent initiatives.
