As is tradition before a Channel Partners event, we’ve compiled a gallery to highlight the prizes you can win and the best parties you can attend — this time in Washington, D.C., at Channel Partners Evolution. 

You could go home with gift cards, iPads, trips, virtual-reality headsets … even a drone! And you could be telling stories from those late-night parties for years to come.

AireSpring (booth D34) will award one $500 Amazon Gift Card to one winner, randomly selected from all participants who complete a brief survey available at the company’s booth. The winner will be selected after the close of the show and notified by email. 

PGi (booth E52) will offer “fancy lattes and delightful espressos” to anyone who attends its hosted learning event, “Afternoon Lattes With PGi,” in meeting room National Harbor 8, from 3-4 p.m., on Tues., Aug. 16. Collaboration experts will discuss how to build a successful collaboration pipeline and build more revenue. This is for both drop-ins and pre-registrants, but the registered attendees will get priority seating. Seats are limited to 40. Each attendee will receive a $25 Starbucks gift card and one raffle ticket to enter PGi’s $1,000 card drawing.

The vendor also is giving away a designer vintage tee to partners who swing by its booth and say, “Tee it up!”

Impact Telecom (booth E46) is giving away a brand-new iPad Pro! Stop by booth #E46 to learn more about Impact Telecom, our services and partner program and drop your business card in our bowl!

For a chance to win, drop your business card in a bowl at the company’s booth. The drawing will be held at 10 a.m. on Wed., Aug. 17. Need not be present to win.

WTG (booth F25 and a signature Evolution sponsor) is hosting “Keys To Evolution” on Mon., Aug. 15. You are invited to enjoy an evening filled with great food, drink and people, along with dueling pianos. The event is backed by WTG gold sponsors NTT Communications and NuAge Energy; silver sponsor RingCentral; and bronze sponsors Electric Lightwave, Level 3 and Vonage. It’s open to WTG agent partners, guests and sponsoring providers.

The master agent is also holding a raffle for a chance to win a trip to its 19th annual holiday event. The prize package includes round-trip airfare for two and a two-night stay at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort, plus golf or spa for two in Palm Springs, California. It takes place Dec. 1-2. Just drop your business card in the fish bowl at the WTG booth. That’s where the drawing will happen at 11:30 a.m. on Wed., Aug. 17. But need not be present to win.

AB&T Telecom is hosting a Magical Happy Hour at Granite City Brewery at Washington Harbor, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Mon., Aug. 15. AB&T has hired renowned magician Bob Sheets to entertain, mystify and maybe even confound guests at the event.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and craft brews will be served — complimentary for attendees. The event is open to all telecom agents, MSPs and VARs registered to attend Channel Partners Evolution by emailing [email protected], which will generate an evite back to the sender for an RSVP. Granite City Brewing is one block from the entrance of the Gaylord National at 200 American Way, National Harbor, Maryland.

Telecom for Change (booth H82) is hosting the Speakeasy Soirée, a 1920s-themed benefit for the Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Nursing. The party will take place at the historic Torpedo Factory Arts Center on Tues., Aug. 16, at 9 p.m.

The party will feature an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and jazz band The Stan Slotter Group providing ambiance. Raffles, silent and live auctions will be held to raise money for the night’s beneficiary. Space is limited, so see one of the event’s sponsors (Verizon, Intelisys, Masergy, Evolve IP, Matrix, BCN, BullsEye Telecom, Carve Digital, Fusion, Informa, IntelePeer, LanYap Networks, Level 3 and ViaWest) for passes or stop by the Telecom for Change booth for more information.

Telecom for Change is a charitable organization made up of agents and suppliers in the channel, dedicated to boosting awareness of and raising money for grassroots charities nationwide.

Broadview Networks (booth D38) is giving away virtual-reality headsets that are compatible with iPhones and Android devices. Just scan your badge at the company’s booth for a chance to win. Winners will be determined at the end of expo-hall hours on both Monday and Tuesday. Need not be present to win.

Windstream (booth E72 and a featured Evolution sponsor) is giving away Beats headphones by Dr. Dre. Scan your badge at the company’s booth for a chance to win. There will be one winner each day, chosen an hour before the expo hall closes. Need not be present to win; you only have to be scanned once to be eligible for all drawings.

AppRiver (booth C43) also has music on the mind. One of the sponsors of the passport sweepstakes (winner gets a $2,500 AMEX gift card), AppRiver is doubling down by giving a passport drawing winner Bose SoundSport wireless headphones. The drawing takes place in the Evolution Theater, sponsored by Rackspace, on Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.

SoTel Systems (booth E53 and a signature Evolution sponsor) will host an after-party with partner Samsung (also a signature Evolution sponsor) at the Residence Inn, 192 Waterfront St., National Harbor, from 6-9 p.m. on Tues., Aug. 16. Get a free ticket at the company’s booth. The bash will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

The event is being held to celebrate the announcement/press release SoTel is making at the show. So stay tuned.

Signature sponsor Sova wants you to win an Amazon Echo, to be given away in the company’s Plexiglass meeting room (PMR1) located near the registration area. Just drop off your business card. The winner will be chosen on Thurs., Aug. 18, and announced on the Sova website (www.sova.com), via Twitter (@SOVA_Inc), LinkedIn and Facebook.

Distributor Jenne (booth D40 and a featured Evolution sponsor) is giving away an iPad mini from Extreme Networks, a Konftel Ego, three $50 AMEX gift cards from Vault America, and a VCS702 from VTech. Drop off a business card at Jenne’s booth or have your badge scanned by a Jenne sales rep. You’ll be contacted after the show via email if you are a winner.

Fellow distributor Tech Data (booth D52) wants you to take home a Predator | WiFi QuadCopter drone, with camera. The company will announce the winner at its booth following the passport prize announcement at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. To become eligible, fill out a brief survey. You must be present to win, so don’t dilly-dally after you watch the passport drawing in the Evolution Theater, sponsored by Rackspace.

net2phone (booth D73) is offering massages and chocolate bars at its booth. If your bar has a golden ticket, you can win a 3DR Solo Quadcopter drone, an iPad Pro, an Amazon Echo, GoPro Hero Session, PlayStation 4, or a Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Master agent TBI (booth E73) is giving away a $250 gift card of the winner’s choice and some Bose wireless speakers. Stop by the TBI booth and get your badge scanned. The gift card announcement will be made on Monday, and the speakers on Tuesday. Need not be present to win.
