  • New Services Roundup: Windstream

    Windstream launched a new cloud-based phone service for SMBs that includes collaboration, mobility and continuity features.

    Windstream Hosted Communications (WHC) for Small Business is designed to give small-business owners access to a set of enterprise-grade features that allow them to “operate with the efficiency and scale of a large business at a price that fits their business model.”

    WHC services include auto attendant, desktop sharing and “office anywhere,” which allows business owners to be reached, no matter where they are, on a single number.

  • New Services Roundup: TelePacific

    TelePacific says its new managed services platform, enabled by SD-WAN, “almost immediately” pushes out the configuration data needed to fill a customer’s requirements and gets ordered services up and running within minutes.

    The company also points out that, since it manages the entire end-to-end delivery, it can support multiple continuity and security levels. As a result, TelePacific has expanded its traditional five-nines performance guarantee to a 100-percent uptime promise for select services. It’s all part of a new, long-term contract with VeloCloud to enable delivery of TelePacific products and services over SD-WAN anywhere that a customer has broadband connectivity.

  • New Services Roundup: AT&T

    AT&T is giving its solution providers access to a cloud connection solution that one partner says might persuade customers to stick with their MPLS networks just a little longer.

    The carrier announced at its annual Partner Exchange Summit that its partners can now sell NetBond, the telco giant’s solution that lets customers use its virtual private network to access 16 cloud providers.

    And like TelePacific, AT&T has a new partnership with VeloCloud, which will allow it to launch an SD-WAN portfolio in 2017.

  • New Services Roundup: Intelisys

    At Channel ConnectIntelisys gave a sneak peak of its new CRM system built exclusively for telecom and cloud sales representatives.

    Audex 360 is an upgrade to the company’s Audex platform. The rollout is expected by the end of the year.

    “This one’s pretty amazing,” said Brian Leonard, Intelisys’ director of marketing. “It’s like a Salesforce.com, but it focuses entirely on the channel. So first, Salesforce.com is insanely expensive, and two, you have to go through and configure it to all the carriers that we do. Audex 360 is pre-built for you. This plugs right into RPM and they can download all their information, it comes into this and it’s all there.”

  • New Services Roundup: Birch Communications

    Birch Communications released its new TotalCloud PBX Hub app and has revamped its TotalCloud PBX product mix with a newly revised suite of cloud services for SMBs and enterprises.

    Available on the company’s TotalCloud PBX platform, the Hub app includes collaboration features that allow end-users to make and receive calls from any device as if they were in the office.

  • New Services Roundup: Dell EMC

    Storage giant Dell EMC drew some lines in the sand today with key product announcements around enterprise product VMAX, midmarket offering Unity and Data Domain, opening up new sales opportunities for partners.

    The new Dell EMC at its Austin, Texas, event also introduced a slew of new products and enhancements sure to interest the channel. For one, the company said it is expanding its converged infrastructure portfolio through integration with PowerEdge servers into VxRail Appliances and VxRack System 1000 hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).

  • New Services Roundup: MegaPath

    MegaPath launched a new proactive monitoring service. The company said the service will be provided no additional charge if it is accompanied with the purchase of MegaPath’s T1, Bonded T1, Business Ethernet and Fiber Access services.

    MegaPath said network administrators will be able to take advantage of a self-service portal, that lets them to turn notifications on or off, change preferences for notifications and set monitoring schedules.

  • New Services Roundup: Avaya

    Avaya introduced a new platform for business communications that consolidates various applications and interfaces into one experience.

    Customizable through the Avaya Breeze Client SDK by vertical industry or worker requirements, Avaya Equinox is supported on desktop or mobile devices, and available out of the box on the Avaya Vantage device.

  • New Services Roundup: Juniper Networks

    Juniper Networks enhanced its security portfolio to extend threat prevention into the network.

    The enhancements include a solution that automates the enforcement of security policies and isolates infected endpoints. Juniper made the announcements at its NXTWORK 2016 user conference

  • New Services Roundup: BCN Telecom

    BCN Telecom introduced an enhanced set of managed services and equipment designed to meet the evolving needs of the telecom agent channel and its customers.

    The BCN portfolio includes current equipment technology available from advanced edge routers to Wi-Fi networking systems and more. Its in-house engineering and design consultants help deliver the “right solution designed expertly and specifically to meet the needs of each and every customer,” the company said.

  • New Services Roundup: Citrix

    Beginning in January, Citrix will begin offering new Citrix Customer Success Services that partners can offer their customers.

    The vendor introduced a new model for tiered support services – including guidance, enablement, and proactive monitoring – to help customers accelerate cloud adoption while realizing their business goals.

    In total, Citrix will offer three tiered Customer Success/Support Services: Select, Priority, and Priority Plus, with the initial launch of the Select package beginning in January. This new service replaces the existing Software Maintenance offering.

    SD-WAN provider Ecessa launched a browser-accessed management tool, Ecessa Insight. The centralized management tool is said to help IT staff configure, manage and monitor Ecessa solutions.

  • New Services Roundup: D&H Distributing

    D&H Distributing introduced a Cloud Marketplace portal, available on the distributor’s website.

    The platform allows resellers to pick cloud-based solutions for resale on a monthly annuity basis. VARs and MSPs can find cloud-based offerings in the portal using its self-service model.
