Level 3
Level 3 Communications is offering SD-WAN to businesses as a new component to its overall hybrid networking strategy. Level 3 SD-WAN provides customers with the ability to create secure private networks over a mix of public and private infrastructure, with site-to-site encryption — regardless of access or backbone method, the company said.

Intelisys
Master agent Intelisys added to its partner-enablement portfolio a new sales tool that allows sales partners to qualify cloud opportunities quickly while collaborating with the Intelisys solutions engineering team.
The Virtual Sales Engineer (VSE) makes it possible for channel sales pros to qualify deals as they happen by asking their customers a pre-determined set of questions found within the tool — from their laptop, smartphone or tablet.

NTT Communications rolled out a software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) platform that partners can resell. The NTT subsidiary introduced its SD-WAN Service Portfolio, which the company calls the “first fully software-defined network.” NTT says its architecture distributes the platform using more than 75 local cloud centers to reach more than 190 countries.

Xerox
Xerox gave its partners two new marketing kits. One is the Future of Work Forum Kit, which helps partners showcase what they think of the future of work to their customers. Xerox also made available a demand generation kit, which deals with online content and outbound emails.

Zentera
Zentera announced its CoIP Cloud-Ready Enclave product, available in the CenturyLink cloud and based on Zentera’s “Cloud over IP” architecture. The concept is to secure, manage and ease migrations to multi-cloud ecosystems by applying a virtual overlay network.

SkyKick
SkyKick enhanced its cloud management platform for partners in response to both rapid growth in partner migrations, and requests from IT partners for a streamlined method for migration process and workflow management. The company upgraded Its Office 365 migration software suite with new features aimed at making managing migrations easier.

HPE
Hewlett Packard Enterprise partnered with ClearCenter to bring ClearOS, a Linux-based operating system, to HPE Proliant servers. The vendor also announced that it’s refreshing and broadening its Proliant server portfolio. And, HPE launched Capacity Care, a Pointnext offering that gives procurement support and capacity monitoring for HPE’s ProLiant Gen10 servers.

FireEye announced new cloud and virtual versions of its endpoint security product along with enhanced capabilities for channel partners. The updates, due early in the third quarter, build on announcements around the company’s Endpoint Protection Platform and come on the heels of modest sales growth in the first quarter as FireEye benefited from fear over WannaCry, negative press around rival Kaspersky and stabilization in its executive ranks.

Ruckus, which belongs to Brocade, announced wired and wireless networking for a variety of customers, including hospitality, service provider, government, enterprise and SMB. Ruckus is combining its wireless products with Brocade’s ICX wired switching portfolio.

Barracuda Networks announced two new MSP professional service offerings – Barracuda NextGen Firewall – Intronis MSP Edition, and Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition, for MSPs looking to expand their monitoring and management services. These two new MSP offerings target MSPs that may not have the resources or technical expertise to implement and consistently monitor the Barracuda NextGen Firewall and the Barracuda Backup Appliance.
