  • New Services Roundup: AT&T

    AT&T Partner Exchange rolled out new training and mobility tools for its solution providers.

     

    The organization announced three application programming interfaces (APIs) that are said to help partners take of customer accounts. The four-year-old Partner Exchange also enhanced its training program to help partners get certifications in mobility, network and operations more quickly.

  • New Services Roundup: Microsoft

    Introduced in November as a new, chat-based workspace designed to boost the collaboration capabilities in Office 365, Microsoft Teams is now available worldwide with the addition of more than 100 new features.

     

    General availability of Microsoft Teams rolled out to 181 markets in 19 languages. Up until last month, a preview version of Teams was available and in use by more than 50,000 organizations.

  • New Services Roundup: AWS

    Amazon Web Services is developing a suite of tools for enterprises to help them manage their call centers, according to a report from The Information. The tools are based on the technology AWS developed for its own retail call centers.

  • New Services Roundup: Cisco

    Cisco announced upgrades to its Cisco HyperFlex Systems portfolio. The latest release bridges HyperFlex platform innovation from version 2.0 to 2.5 and includes management improvements, new enterprise data protection and security features, according to the vendor.

  • New Services Roundup: Broadview Networks

    Broadview Networks introduced OfficeSuite UC for Microsoft Dynamics 365, joining it with 16 additional software applications. The platform integration combines businesses’ existing applications with their business communications.

  • New Services Roundup: Ingram Micro

    Ingram Micro added “Security Blueprints” to help partners who focus on vertical markets such as education, health care, legal/finance and retail. Blueprints are accessible via the distributor’s online learning environment for channel partners specializing in verticals.

  • New Services Roundup: CoreDial

    CoreDial added BroadSoft’s BroadWorks call-control services to its SwitchConnex platform, allowing its channel partner community to sell to a wider range of customers.

     

    CoreDial now offers a multi-switch and carrier-grade software platform that supports both Asterisk and BroadWorks, allowing partners to support any type of customer, including small businesses to large multi-site enterprises, according to the company.

  • New Services Roundup: FatPipe

    FatPipe Networks rolled out out a new SD-WAN platform. The ninth version of the FatPipe Next Gen SD-WAN platform offers support for Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks — something the company says will make complex routers unnecessary.

     

    The vendor says that the enabling of routed and switched topologies will help “bridge the LAN and WAN chasm.”

  • New Services Roundup: 2600Hz

    2600Hz launched a hosted platform that it said will turn MSPs and IT professionals into mobile carriers.

     

    The 2600Hz Mobile Hosted Platform allows solution providers to activate and provision mobile phones, MiFi devices, tablets and additional mobile products for their customers.

  • New Services Roundup: SolarWinds

    SolarWinds updated its Orion modular platform and related products to allow for end-to-end hybrid IT management. The goal is to elevate SolarWinds’ offerings to the next level beyond its NetPath product that’s been shipping for nine months.

  • New Services Roundup: ShoreTel

    ShoreTel launched “Teamwork,” a collaboration tool that it said will help teams work more “more efficiently and productively on the go.” The tool lets co-workers chat, share files and manage team tasks from a mobile application.

  • New Services Roundup: CloudJumper

    CloudJumper launched an onboarding solution  for managed service providers (MSPs), cloud service providers (CSPs), telcos, agents, and other IT service providers that deliver workspace as a service (WaaS). The new tool, which is free to partners, has been integrated with the vendor’s quoting system in the myCloudJumper portal.
