  • New Portals, Partner-Friendly Websites

    One of the ways vendors seek to improve the partner experience is by launching and revamping portals for partners to obtain training, support and other resources. We’ve compiled a list of companies that have made a significant change to either their website or partner portal in the last year. 

    The companies vary in what they have to offer, but the end goal is the same: creating a more attractive and streamlined interface for partners — and in many cases, new opportunities.

    Our gallery highlights a dozen of these companies, including suppliers such as HP, Samsung and Toshiba Telecom, as well as industry organizations like CompTIA.

  • New Portals and Websites: 8×8

    As part of its international channel program expansion, 8×8, the unified communications as a service provider, announced a new partner portal, educational and certification opportunities and several new partners — including master agent Telarus.

    The new portal is part of the “Channel 2.0″ program. It’s designed to give partners better automation and self-service.

  • New Portals and Websites: Toshiba

    The telecommunications division of Toshiba America Information Systems announced a new website that is friendly with a variety of platforms.

    The telecommunications site contains training videos and other information about Toshiba’s business communications platforms, including VIPedge, its cloud-based service.

  • New Portals and Websites: HP Inc.

    HP Inc. introduced the HP JetAdvantage On Demand portal, a marketplace for HP and third-party printing and imaging applications.

    According to the company, HP JetAdvantage On Demand offers software-as-service (SaaS) apps with integrated services for managing apps, users and devices from HP — as well as non-HP printers.

  • New Portals and Websites: Samsung

    Samsung gave independent software vendors (ISVs) access to a partner information portal to find marketing and security training support. The electronics company rolled out new benefits for its ISVs and added technology partners and system integrators to the program.

  • New Portals and Websites: CompTIA

    CompTIA, the IT industry association, updated its website and launched a career and job portal for members.

    The association is formalizing its relationship with IT professionals as it formalize acquires the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and creates a new organization called CompTIA Association of IT Professionals.

  • New Portals and Websites: Peak 10

    Peak 10 redesigned its partner portal to help make its channel partners more productive. The sales management of partner organizations can now view their activity in one site, and sales representatives can also view their personal activity.

  • New Portals and Website: D&H Distributing

    D&H Distributing, the computer product and consumer electronics distributor, launched a new cloud marketplace portal on its website. The platform went live Sept. 23 and lets SMB resellers pick cloud-based solutions to sell on a monthly annuity basis.

  • New Portals and Websites: Tufin

    Network security provider Tufin launched a new partner portal as part of an enhanced global partner program to help VARs sell more and increase their margins.

    The portal has personalized access to resources and specialized certification training programs.

  • New Portals and Websites: Box

    Enterprise content platform Box launched a new partner portal to increase support for its channel partner program. The company said the portal is “one-stop shop” to submit deal registrations, access training, utilize tracking and invoicing and find support.

  • New Portals and Websites: Alfresco

    Alfresco Software developed a portal that allows partners to access deal registration and co-marketing funds. The portal can sync with Salesforce to help partners access sales tools and leads.

  • New Portals and Websites: SnapLogic

    SnapLogic, the integration platform-as-a-service provider, launched a partner portal in conjunction with its newly launched partner program.

    The program aims to recruit, retain and enable a rich, global ecosystem of partners that help joint customers to accelerate adoption of big data technologies, SaaS applications and cloud data management by accelerating integration and driving digital transformation in the enterprise.
