Polycom‘s RealPrescence Clariti collaboration infrastructure software supports collaboration ecosystems and offers a streamlined licensing model that now includes subscription and perpetual models. Customers will have multiple options for deploying RealPresence Clariti, including on-premises, through hybrid or hosted Internet-as-a-Service offerings from partners, or directly in their own cloud networks.

Now that Netwrix is participating in the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program, the company’s Auditor is available to businesses via the Marketplace. Netwrix Auditor is designed to help strengthen security and enforce internal IT controls by monitoring privileged user activities.

New Products and Services: Dell
Dell’s new Wyse ThinOS 8.2 offers Lync 2010, Lync 2013 and the Skype for Business client for Lync 2015 (UI mode) via the Citrix HDX RealTime Optimization Pack. Dell also released a new version of its Dell Appliance for Wyse – Citrix, a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) appliance which simplifies and merges the server, storage and networking components required to deploy a Citrix environment into a 2U module that starts small and provides scale-out capabilities for up to 5,000 users with Citrix XenDesktop.

Under the terms of their relationship, Ingram Micro will market, sell and support CloudPhysics‘ solution, which makes it possible for VMware users to preempt and eliminate operational hazards that threaten to disrupt IT operations and applications. CloudPhysics says it gives vSphere teams the confidence to act boldly to reduce risk and waste without compromising the safety of the virtual infrastructure or the applications it supports.

New Products and Services: Tech Data-Koolspan
Tech Data will provide KoolSpan’s suite of solutions to its partner base as part of a new agreement between the tech distributor and the provider of mobile security. It’ll be done through Tech Data’s Mobile Solutions & Retail division. KoolSpan’s security and privacy solutions address the growing threat of loss or theft of intellectual property, vital information and proprietary assets.

Cloud Cruiser said its new app is aimed at measuring consumption on multi-cloud platforms. The cloud analytics software provider said Cloud Cruiser 16 will allow customers to optimize the delivery of cloud services to the business by metering usage by user, eliminating waste and driving business value.

TSO Logic said its Cloud Enablement platform fills the knowledge gap by providing transparency and automation in both cloud and on-premises environments. The analytical insights can be shared with third-party cloud and cloud-migration platforms via TSO Logic’s Cloud Enablement API.

The “pure-play” security vendor released two new appliances, both designed to “protect high-end enterprise and data-center networks.” The 15000 and 23000 Series appliances address the need for increased cybersecurity and protections, including zero-day protection, in order to safeguard the entire enterprise from current and future threats, Check Point said.
