More than 1,100 attendees and more than 80 suppliers gathered last week at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, California, for Intelisys Channel Connect 2016. The hot topic at this year’s conference was tech distributor ScanSource’s acquisition of Intelisys, and what it will mean to partners.
ScanSource CEO Mike Baur told attendees the strategic rationale behind the acquisition was a large addressable market with expected channel shift and acquiring the “best master agent.” Also, attendees learned about new opportunities created by the deal.
