Green Cloud opened its new, modern, 14,470 square-foot headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, Sept. 25.
Green Cloud, one of the largest independent channel-only cloud IaaS providers in the country, opened its new, modern, 14,470 square-foot headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, with economic development leaders, county and city officials during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 25.
Green Cloud operates six data centers in Atlanta; Greenville; Houston; Minneapolis; Nashville; and Phoenix — built on platforms such as Cisco and VMware.

Green Cloud founders Eric Hester (CTO), Keith Coker, (CEO) and Charles Houser (executive VP of sales and marketing) cut the ribbon at the company’s celebration. Green Cloud was ranked 73rd on the Inc. 500 in 2016, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies. It also was an Inc. 5000 honoree in 2017 and 2018.

Green Cloud held a photo competition inviting employees to enter artwork and photography to be displayed in the new office. Top submissions were displayed on the walls throughout the new headquarters. The winning photograph was of a downtown Greenville attraction by Green Cloud’s Micheal Godwin, a network operations engineer. Greenville, the fourth fastest-growing city in the country, is situated halfway between Charlotte, North Carolina, and Atlanta, at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Employees gathered in front of Green Cloud’s new headquarters. The company’s $7.8 million investment is projected to create approximately 50 new jobs over the next five years. Every Green Cloud employee is fully vested in the company, which was named a “Top Workplace” in South Carolina in 2017 and 2018.
