We’ll be the first to admit that we say this every year — but this truly is no exaggeration.
The expo hall at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo was amazing. In part, that was due to the fact we had a record attendance of more than 5,100. But also because the exhibitors who set up shop inside brought their “A” games.
We saw a record number of giant booths, several March Madness-themed exhibits, the new Microsoft Cloud Migration Lab and the Jive BIG Stage — not to mention lightsabers, puppies, and yes, Dennis Rodman.

Channel Partners Expo Hall: Opening Celebration
With more than 5,100 total participants at this year’s show, there was a huge crowd that poured into the expo hall at the moment it opened on Wednesday afternoon. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: AT&T
The Channel Partners Expo Hall featured a record number of giant booths this year. One of those was a 40×40 space hosted by title sponsor AT&T, visible as soon as you walked in. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Verizon
Verizon also went BIG, but it was this little guy – and the rest of the shelter dogs from www.adoptarescuepet.org – that drew a lot of attention at the carrier’s booth. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Vonage
Vonage was one of several companies to go BIG with the March Madness theme. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Nextiva
So did Nextiva, which took it another step, detouring NBA legend Dennis Rodman from another trip to North Korea. Rodman posed for photos and challenged attendees to a shootout.

Channel Partners Expo Hall: Cable Zone
New to the expo hall this year was the Cable Zone, a joint collaboration among the major cable companies. All had booths in one section of the show floor. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Microsoft Cloud Migration Lab
Also new in the hall was the Microsoft Cloud Migration Lab, where attendees heard from speakers and various vendors who shared real-life experiences on end-user application migration and disaster recovery as a service. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: WTG
WTG leased a couple of spaces in the expo hall — one for its booth, and this one to give out free head, shoulder and leg massages to its hard-working partners. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: MHO Networks
We trust no one got hurt in this lightsaber duel at the MHO Networks booth. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Effortless Office
Effortless Office brought in a digital artist to sketch attendees holding lightsabers — and the caricatures were done in no time flat. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: The BIG Stage Sponsored by Jive
The BIG Stage sponsored by Jive lived up to its name, featuring this session on the Cisco-Powered Cloud. The stage was also home to a channel chief interview with Verizon, a UC-VoIP discussion with Jive, and Channel Partners’ Best in Show Awards. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Intelisys
Not lacking for confidence, the team from Intelisys was CRUSHINGIT. -
Channel Partners Expo Hall: Exede
Whether a hello or a goodbye, this friendly alien at the Exede booth might be looking ahead to Cloud Partners in August. -
