The companies these new hires used to call home are also noteworthy: XO, Ingram Micro, Microsoft, Dropbox and more.

Just when you thought our monthly “people on the move” gallery couldn’t get more popular …

Despite slogging through the dog days of summer, we were inundated with news in August about new hires and promotions. They include channel chiefs and managers, product folks and more. You’ll also find company brass that make decisions that trickle down to the channel.

And in this edition, there’s no dearth of big names: AT&T, Intelisys, Avaya, TPx, Effortless and Rapidscale — and those aren’t even half of the companies represented. The companies these new hires used to call home are also noteworthy: XO, Ingram Micro, Microsoft, Dropbox and more.

Missed last month’s “people” gallery? Click here to see who was on the move in July.
