Our pics from the expo hall are always a hit.
If you were there, our image gallery from the Channel Partners Evolution expo hall will remind you of the sights and sounds from the show. If you weren’t, we bet it will make you wonder why you missed it!
Below you’ll find some of the biggest booths – think AT&T, Verizon and RingCentral – plus many new things from the show floor such as a Cloud Service Provider pavilion, the Evolution Hub TV studio … and food trucks! You’re bound to see someone you know.
Remember, the Channel Partners Conference & Expo is just around the corner!

Evolution Hub
New to the expo hall this year was the Evolution Hub sponsored by Star2Star. Here, Michelle Accardi, president and chief revenue officer at the cloud communications provider, joins Channel Partners' Craig Galbraith on set to discuss the company's channel program.
We recorded interviews with various channel newsmakers in our Hub TV studio to be posted later this month on our website. There was also an area for attendees to sit and watch the proceedings.

LinkedIn Headshots
Also part of the Hub was an area to get a free headshot taken for your LinkedIn page and other social media exploits. The team from Mojo Marketing took the photos, to be distributed via email in the coming days.

AT&T
AT&T, the title sponsor of Channel Partners Evolution, made its presence felt with a gigantic booth at the entrance to the expo hall. And boy, were the doughnut sundaes served up at the booth delicious!
The carrier was active throughout the event. Rupesh Chokshi, associate vice president of AT&T Business Solutions and International, told attendees during his keynote that innovation is moving rapidly, so it's critical to educate yourself and understand all of the latest technologies, such as software-centric networking and network virtualization.

Verizon
A premier sponsor of Channel Partners Evolution, Verizon set up shop next to its biggest rival. And like AT&T, Verizon was visible throughout the event.
The carrier sponsored a keynote session dubbed "How to Leverage Social Media to Beat Everyone to the Sale." Led by Will Harris, managing director, Willpower Consultation, the session explained how to go beyond the likes, comments and shares with a social media strategy that converts social media into social selling.

RingCentral
RIngCentral kept up its tradition of a large presence in the hall. The premier sponsor could be seen frequently around the show, including its participation in a keynote panel on UC&C, which featured real-world examples that explain why UC&C is gaining C-level mindshare — and why you should be selling it now.

Avant's VR Biodome
Avant (a Premier Sponsor) brought virtual reality to the Channel Partners Conference & Expo this past spring, but went all out with a full-on VR biodome at Evolution. Attendees got a chance to dabble in the technology that is starting to become a channel play.

WTG
Master agent WTG (a featured sponsor) highlighted its various vendor relationships at its booth and hosted a fun party the last full day of the show, welcoming invited guests to a game lounge with throwback '70s and '80s arcade games.

BCM One
BCM One, which debuted its technology lounge at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, set up in the expo hall at Evolution.
This iteration of the lounge gave attendees the chance to experience the technologies that empower customer deals with collaborative modern solutions. The company's experts were on hand to discuss cloud optimization, technology expense optimization, SD-WAN, Microsoft Office 365 and unified cloud communications.

Cloud Service Provider Pavilion
"Experience areas" are a new tradition in expo halls at Channel Partners events. At Evolution, we featured our first-ever Cloud Service Provider pavilion, sponsored by Veeam.
Forward-looking agents – more of whom are pulling together cloud-service stacks to empower customers and make themselves indispensable – struck up conversations with the team from Veeam and kiosk sponsor Aryaka. They walked away with more tools to grow their cloud-service bundles.

Pax 8
Cloud distributor Pax8 (a Signature Sponsor) took home the Evolution award for best new exhibitor — no doubt buoyed by the strength of its booth. Company reps sported "wingman" uniforms to remind partners that they're right by their side through the entire sales process.

Train Our Troops
With the help of generous sponsors, Channel Partners has invited military veterans to our shows the last couple of years to introduce them to careers in technology. This fall, we took it to another level, enlisting the help of the Train Our Troops organization, which provides U.S. veterans and their spouses with advanced online training and certification solutions to give them a competitive advantage in the civilian marketplace and ignite their careers.

SD-WAN Zone/SDxE
Channel Partners Evolution was collocated with the brand-new Software-Defined Enterprise Conference & Expo (SDxE), which featured an SD-WAN zone sponsored by Riverbed. CBB, Versa and Windstream all sponsored kiosks in the experience area. Attendees got a chance to learn about the latest each company has to offer in software-defined networking.

(Table) Tennis, Anyone?
Another Channel Partners first, CenturyLink sponsored an area for attendees to "channel" their inner child, offering up ping pong, air hockey, Foosball and more as a break from that hardcore networking in the expo hall. Looks like this volley came to an end when we snapped our photo.

Food Trucks
Another Channel Partners first — food trucks! Since Austin is known as one of America's best cities for food trucks, we brought some into the expo hall to give attendees some local flavor. Mmmm... those pulled pork sliders were good!
