Who will build tomorrow’s private and public clouds? Perhaps Fredrik Mohn will rank among the architects. Indeed, Mohn recently passed the VMware Certified Associate (VCA) exam. The twist? He’s only 16 years old, according to a VMware (VMW) blog entry.

Mohn isn’t the only VMware expert in his house. His father, Christian Mohn, has a VMware lab at home and is a VMUG (VMware User Group) member in Norway. Fredrik Mohn’s father also works for an IT consulting firm.

As The VAR Guy’s hear turns gray (or falls out completely), he’s frequently reminded that next-generation IT consultants and cloud experts are moving into the market all the time.

Among the High School hot shots worth watching: Michael Weymouth, CEO of TechWizard, a technology consulting firm on Long Island. Weymouth delivered a keynote at CompTIA ChannelCon (formerly Breakaway) in August 2012. At the time, he was only 14 years old.

Now along comes Fredrik Mohn, empowered with VMware expertise.
