VMware (VMW) has secured INETCO Systems as the latest member in its growing Technology Alliance Partner program (TAP) as the company continues to expand its reach into the lucrative realm of cloud computing. INETCO’s experience in providing application-aware infrastructure performance monitoring software is expected to diversify the TAP ecosystem of partners and give VMware customers new solutions for virtualization and cloud computing capabilities.

“INETCO looks forward to offering our INETCO Insight transaction monitoring and analytics software through VMware’s VSX,” said Bijan Sanii, president and CEO of INETCO, in a prepared statement. “We’re excited to provide VMware customers accessibility to the critical network, wire and application performance data needed to ensure the consistent delivery of their business-critical applications running in virtualized environments.”

As members of the Technology Alliance Partner program, INETCO’s products will be available to customers through the VMware Solutions Exchange online marketplace, where they can also learn more about the program as a whole and VMware’s efforts to develop new virtualization technologies. Currently, the TAP program has several thousand members globally, with VMware adding more at a steady pace.

Earlier this week, VMware announced a new collaboration with network solutions provider Brocade to introduce new analytics capabilities for SANs supporting cloud environments to the upcoming vCenter Log Insight 2.0. Data security provider AFORE also announced the availability of its CloudLink Secure VSA for the vCloud Hybrid Service, allowing vCloud users to encrypt their hybrid clouds and protect sensitive data from other users.
