HotLink Rolls Out Enhanced Hybrid IT Solutions

Hybrid IT solution provider HotLink Corp. has brought new features to its HotLink Hybrid Express and HotLink DR Express solutions to allow users to more quickly deploy their hybrid production workloads at scale and provide analytics for on- and off-premise resources. HotLink’s revamped offerings will also deliver closer integration between VMware (VMW) vCenter and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for easier-to-manage and more cost-effective administration for hybrid IT deployments, according to the company.

“Production and scale-out use cases are mandatory for broad enterprise adoption of hybrid IT, but management complexity can quickly erode the benefits. Our solutions were purpose-built for the transformation needed to administer, deploy and manage blended infrastructure in a holistic and agile way,” said Lynn LeBlanc, CEO of HotLink, in a statement. “With HotLink, customers benefit from the robust administration and management capabilities of VMware vCenter across the spectrum of hybrid platforms without an expensive systems integration project.”

HotLink Hybrid Express allows users to plug in to their VMware vCenter environments to deploy, administer and manage their on- and off-premise resources side by side with VMware vSphere. New enhancements to Hybrid Express include multi-hypervisor support, including Microsoft Hyper-V, Cintrix XenServer and Red Hat KVM, with additional software defined hybrid-networking tools to unify administration and management of multi-hypervisor and AWS networking in vCenter, according to HotLink.

The company’s revised HotLink DR Express gives users the ability to enable VMware data protection within AWS, with additional features such as protection dashboard and analytics, flexible storage reconfiguration, restore point rollback, file server replication and database server replication. Both solutions also include multi-disk and large disk support as well as EC2 disc creation and configuration options. The new versions of Hotlink Hybrid Express and HotLink DR Express are available now.
