Tech Data Corp. has partnered with Adobe to distribute Creative Cloud for teams, which means resellers may offer programs including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Muse, for a monthly fee.

Resellers offer Adobe Creative Cloud for teams through the so-called Value Incentive Plan, or VIP, Adobe’s membership and volume licensing program. That way, organizations don’t have to buy new, hardware-based  editions of the programs they just download updates while resellers oversee administration such as customer tracking and management.

Here’s how VIP for Adobe Creative Cloud for teams works for Tech Data partners:

  • Resellers have an online console that allows them to see what has been purchased and deployed, and to which users;

  • Membership consolidates resellers’ seats and products into one agreement and automatically prorates any seats that added after the initial purchase, simplifying license management.

“The VIP membership is an enablement tool that provides an all-encompassing customer service experience for our resellers,” said Stacy Nethercoat, vice president of product marketing, software and cloud services at Tech Data, in a press release.

Tech Data is giving its resellers access to technical support and education training for Adobe Creative Cloud for teams.
