Apparent Networks Launches Cloud Performance Reports for MSPs

Remote Performance Management (RPM) specialists Apparent Networks has launched CloudSmart, a managed services framework for MSPs to offer customers cloud monitoring services. In theory, members of Apparent's PathView Cloud partner program can keep an eye on cloud-based application deployments and troubleshoot proactively.

Apparent Networks CEO Jim Melvin reiterated the importance of the kind of montioring the CloudSmart framework provides: SaaS applications like voice-over-IP, video conferencing, and productivity suites can require a lot of bandwidth and keeping everything optimum is an important value-add.

Said Melvin in a prepared statement:

“As service providers launch the new year, CloudSmart brings a service platform for pre-assessing, continuously monitoring and proactively troubleshooting their end users’ networks. By supporting cutting edge cloud services, generating recurring revenue and helping customers budget for ongoing IT performance, CloudSmart is a value added differentiator for any IT services business.”

The CloudSmart framework is available for free to all Apparent Networks PathView Cloud partners, and includes the usual range of benefits including recommended pricing charts, guides and training, and a re-brandable customer-facing portal.

Cloud monitoring software systems have become increasingly popular in recent months. In fact, numerous RMM (remote monitoring and management) software providers now offer the ability to monitor SaaS applications and public clouds like, Rackspace Cloud and Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS).
