Zoho Brings Invoice and Helpdesk to Google Apps Marketplace
Zoho is bringing its browser-based Zoho Invoice and Zoho Creator Helpdesk cloud products to the Google Apps Marketplace, filling some enterprise gaps in the standard Google Apps package. Here’s the lowdown.
This announcement comes with some impressive stats from Zoho: their blog entry claims that “hundreds of businesses” come over to Zoho from the Google Apps Marketplace by way of the existing Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects, which launched with Google’s store itself. To that end, Zoho’s claiming three million users overall.
As for Zoho Invoice for Google Apps, it fully integrates your Google users and contacts, allowing you to send bills to friends and colleagues alike. Moreover, it allows administrators to give selective access to users on the domain.
Zoho Creator Helpdesk does what the name implies: provides helpdesk and customer support services, including ticket management and knowledge base functionality, to Google Apps users. Interestingly, Creator Helpdesk allows administrators to customize the front-end to your needs by editing forms, fields and report via a drag-and-drop interface.
Let’s call it a Google Apps Marketplace success story. Zoho offers all their solutions for free to single users and small teams, with scaled pricing for whole enterprises. By putting their solution on the Google Apps Marketplace, they’ve reached a previously-untapped audience of Google Apps resellers and administrators while also giving them a solution Google can’t or won’t offer.
