VeriStor Systems is expanding its cloud and managed-services practice.

The company said the expansion will help meet data-protection requirements that clients are demanding across the country.

VeriStor promoted John Kauffmann to vice president of cloud operations in order to support the move. Kauffmann had been working with VeriStor since 2014 after working for six years as a director of professional services at the MSP Softchoice.{ad}

In addition to the newly announced cloud data protection, VeriStor’s portfolio includes cloud disaster recovery, cloud backup and cloud archiving services.
