Vartopia Adds Salesforce Support with Nova Deal Reg Platform

Information technology solutions provider Vartopia revealed a new deal registration platform for technology vendors, to offer an end-to-end solution to help manage and plan their deal registrations through the Salesforce.com CRM. Vartopia Nova expands the company's existing deal registration system from the multi-vendor registration platform Galaxy to enable partner-branded options for deal registrations.

“We’re really excited about this,” said Michael Reilly, the CEO of Vartopia, in an interview with The VAR Guy. “We really have ways [to connect with] any technology vendor, whether they’re looking to connect to the Galaxy or whether they’re looking for an end-to-end solution.”

Vartopia Nova has three main components that allow it to help vendors register their deals and secure them within the system. The Nova Partner Portal is a web application that allows authorized partners to submit, manage and measure their deal registrations. It includes self-service and administration as well as support for partner user groups and sales territories so they can define and organize the deal registration process based on their individual requirements. The portal’s customized reporting interface allows partners to manage their deal registrations using a series of standard reports designed to enhance program participation, with an analytics dashboard to provide additional visibility into the deal registration pipeline, according to Vartopia.

The Nova Salesforce Application is a Salesforce CRM module that allows vendors to review, manage and measure their deal registrations directly within the Salesforce CRM. The app also supports multiple registration programs and syncs partner accounts and users between the Nova Portal and Salesforce CRM, according to the press release. There are no per-user licensing fees for the Salesforce application as well, so resellers can have as many user accounts as necessary without incurring additional charges.

Nova is fully compatible with the existing Vartopia Galaxy system, so vendors can make their deal registration programs available through the multi-vendor platform.

“The Nova platform has got a lot of a tremendous amount of features and IP around the partner-facing components. And I think that’s something really important for the industry to think about,” said Reilly. “It’s really about the partner. The better your products are, the better your channel program is and the better the tools you give your partners, all of those things have an impact on a vendor’s success. We’re really focused on the last piece—trying to develop a solution for the entire industry that’s aimed at giving all of the stakeholders involved in the process a system that meets their needs.”
