Unitrends Unveils Data Protection Bundle for Physical, Virtual Environments
Unitrends on Wednesday introduced a new bundled data protection software package for channel partners serving mid-market and enterprise customers.
Dubbed Unitrends Certified Recovery Suite (UCRS), the new disaster recovery offering for physical and virtual environments combines three solutions to satisfy specific backup, archiving and disaster recovery needs.
Available now to the company’s global partner community, UCRS combines Unitrends Enterprise Backup, Unitrends Virtual Backup and ReliableDR to provide end-to-end protection.
“As a single offering the package can address myriad data protection issues in countless IT environments and at a cost that’s comparable to single-environment point solutions,” said Unitrends Product Management and Marketing Vice President Subo Gaha.
The company said customers can leverage any or all of the features to find the right mix for their organization.
“Unitrends’ solutions safeguard today’s heterogeneous IT environments protecting and providing DR capabilities across physical, virtual and cloud environments,” Gaha said.
He added: “It allows our channel partners to provide customers with the most scalable yet most flexible data protection solution offering.”
Unitrends will also be debuting Enterprise Backup Version 7.4 this week.
