Cybersecurity provider Trend Micro has added a new partner program specifically for cloud service providers with consumption-based pricing models.
The Trend Micro Partner Program for Cloud Service Providers was designed to help CSPs sell subscription-based cloud security solutions, said Partha Panda, vice president of Global Channels and Strategic Alliances at Trend Micro. The program is centered around the company’s flagship Trend Micro Deep Security platform.
“This program enables partners to more quickly and fully capitalize on the growing demand for cloud security with pricing that supports the ‘instant-on’ nature of the cloud, and a broad range of business models,” said Panda, in a statement. “Regardless of which cloud their customers are using, Trend Micro provides CSPs with comprehensive security as part of the provider’s stack in an integrated sales motion that is easy to deploy, manage and bill, ensuring the right policies are automatically applied to each instance the moment it’s activated.”
Like most other partner programs of its kind, Trend Micro is offering standard benefits including financial and technical support as well as certification, product training and marketing assets via an exclusive partner portal.
Earlier this year, Trend Micro updated its global partner program by combining the best elements of its regional and North American partner programs into a single entity. The company also joined the Agari Trust Network and made its Deep Security platform available on Microsoft Azure last month.
