TPx, CNSG Continue National Expansions with Partnership

The deal extends TPx's market reach. The company spent much of 2017 moving away from its previous reputation as a regional CLEC.

TPx Communications has added a new master-agent partner to distribute its services.

CNSG and its partners now get access to the TPx portfolio, which includes unified communications, managed IT, and continuity and connectivity services. The “master distributor” previously worked with DSCI, which TelePacific acquired in 2016 before rebranding to TPx.

The deal expands the market reach of TPx, which spent much of 2017 moving away from its previous reputation as a regional CLEC. TPx has been on a hiring spree over the last year, most recently adding Greg Iuzzolino to its national channel development team.

North Carolina-based CNSG also is cementing itself as a national player.

“We are extremely excited to expand our partnership with TPx as one of their national master agents,” said Randy Friedberg, executive vice president of sales and marketing at CNSG. “TPx has evolved from a regional CLEC into a premier managed services carrier whose comprehensive product portfolio enables our partners to deliver a turnkey overall solution for their customers.”

CNSG President Matthew Harty has joined the TPx National Channel Advisory Board as a result of the new partnership. Harty founded CNSG in 2007. Jim Delis, senior vice president of national channel development for TPx, says CNSG is “expanding fast” and entering a new phase of growth.

“The company’s management team and personnel are top-notch and terrific advocates of our on-boarding process for partners who want to learn how to sell TPx’s … unified communications and managed IT solutions,” Delis said. “We’re looking forward to supporting CNSG and its selling partners in a growing number of markets and providing them with the products, tools and resources necessary to win more business as their clients increasingly transition to cloud-based solutions and managed services.”

CNSG signed SD-WAN provider Cato Networks in November and recently hired Devin Williams as vice president of strategy and partner enablement. Williams came from CloudGenix, where he helped launch the company’s channel program.
