Managed services carrier TPx just hired Michelle Hermann, formerly with Comtel Group, to its team of channel managers. She will support partners in New England.
Hermann has been in the industry for 20 years and spent the last 12 years as Comtel‘s director of client services. In that role, she ran the back office for channel partners, primarily managing and implementing migrations, installations and service renewals including TPx’s UCx suite.
“I know TPx products well, so it was an easy and natural transition to join the company’s channel team,” she said. “I also have a lot of experience working with TPx’s channel and provisioning teams, and know firsthand their commitment to channel partners and their clients. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of their nationwide expansion.”
Earlier this month, TPx added two channel managers to support partners in Florida.
TPx now employs 36 channel managers across the country to assist partners with selling its portfolio of UC, managed IT and managed security services. The company also recently realigned its service provisioning organization to create a team dedicated to processing service orders, installations and escalations for agent partners and their clients nationally.
“Michelle is a talented channel manager who already is proving to be an exceptional resource for TPx partners,” said Shawn Day, vice president of channel sales for TPx East. “She hit the ground running, and immediately started recruiting and on-boarding new partners in the New England region. We’re thrilled to have her on our team.”
