Startup Ajubeo Launches Cloud Infrastructure Services
Cloud startup Ajubeo LLC, an enterprise-level IaaS provider, formally launched its services by making its Denver Cloud Hub fully operational. Ajubeo’s IaaS platform will offer on-demand provisioning of integrated and elastic compute, storage and network IT resources. When completed in Q4 2012, Ajubeo’s “Global Cloud Mesh” will have operating hubs in New York and London, as well as Denver.
“Our mission is to provide today’s IT executives and architects with real, enterprise-scale security, performance and agility by starting with an in-depth assessment of their current environment and take into account their businesses vision for the future,” said Chuck Price, CEO and co-founder of Ajubeo, in a prepared statement. “We then work with them to configure an ideal cloud platform that is tailored to their needs using Ajubeo’s enterprise-class, secure, elastic and integrated resource pools.”
Ajubeo plans to market to a wider customer base with retail, wholesale, and private label IaaS alternatives. Offerings will include MS Exchange and Sharepoint, as well as production ERP and SaaS applications. Ajubeo believes that the “business and architectural agility” of its cloud platform will enable IT decisionmakers to achieve their objectives faster and bolster both competitiveness and its speed-to-market with cloud deployments. The firm uses technology from VMware (NYSE: VMW), NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP), Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT) and Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) along with Tier 1 carriers and Internet service providers, and backs its IT offerings with a 100 percent SLA and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Grey Mountain Partners, a private equity firm with a $400 million investment portfolio, is Ajubeo’s primary backer.
