SaaSMax, the aggregator of cloud-based software (SaaS), on Wednesday rolled out its Productivity/Security SaaS Suite for Microsoft Office 365, also called the SaaSMax Suite, essentially kicking off its alliance with D&H Distributing.

In a deal signed in October, SaaSMax and D&H Distributing announced their alliance to bring a range of SaaS applications to SMB VARs and MSPs, D&H’s focus customers. The alliance partners have been working together since that time to deliver SaaS services to the channel.

“SaaSMax’s suite of software applications presents a compelling offering for MSPs and VARs looking to leverage Microsoft’s powerful Office 365 platform to enhance their hosted services offerings,” said Peter DiMarco, D&H’s vice president of VAR sales. “We encourage VARs to leverage value-added SaaS solutions to generate incremental revenues, which along with the other solutions available through D&H’s Cloud Marketplace, can help them make an easier transition to a more profitable, services-based business model.”

The SaaSMax Suite includes SaneBox, modusCloud and V2 Cloud, products that enhance and/or complement Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft 365, SaaSMax said.

SaneBox is a service the analyzes behavior pertaining to emails to determine what’s important to the user. It moves unimportant emails from the inbox into a new folder and summarizes them in a digest for quick bulk-processing. An average SaneBox customer saves more than 12 hours per month, the company said.Think of it as a smart assistant.

The core of Vircom’s modusCloud is an advanced threat protection suite that offers imposter protection, targeted phishing protection, and time-of-click URL defense and attachment sandboxing, providing up-to-the-minute email protection against email fraud, business email compromise, ransomware and more.

V2 Cloud provides access to what the company calls an easy-to-set-up, high-end cloud desktop infrastructure that doesn’t require any specialized training to manage. Virtual machines (VMs) spin up quickly and are accessible quickly.

“The SaaSMax Suite is a great step forward for VARs seeking to differentiate through innovation. SaaSMax makes it easy for them to bring their small and medium business clients into the next generation of productivity, efficiency and security,” said Clinton Gatewood, SaaSMax’s channel chief. “Moreover, its ROI is very easy to demonstrate and explain.”

Expect to see SaaSMax continue to add SaaS applications to its Productivity/Security Suite for Microsoft 365, as well as to other vertical and horizontal suites.

As part of the company’s alliance with D&H Distributing, the companies plan to introduce partners to dozens of hosted SMB and cybersecurity applications that cater to a range of vertical markets, such as education, health care, government and financial services. This agreement is part of D&H’s Cloud Solutions program and its Solutions & Services enablement offerings.

Prior to signing an agreement with D&H, SaaSMax has been quietly but aggressively growing its ecosystem of partners, such as VARs, MSPs, MSSPs, CSPs, telecom agents and the new generation of technology resellers – or shadow channel – such as MarTech, FinTech, HRTech and so on, the company said.
