SaaS Management Firm BetterCloud Names Chief Business Strategy Officer
SaaS management provider BetterCloud announced on Monday that it has named Shreyas Sadalgi chief business strategy officer. In the new role, Sadalgi will be responsible for the company’s strategic technology and system integrator partnerships, as well as corporate development initiatives for the BetterCloud platform.
Sadalgi brings 15 years of experience in strategic partnerships and driving product strategy for cloud and enterprise software companies, BetterCloud says, most recently at Centrify.
In December, BetterCloud launched a new SaaS management platform that allows users to monitor any SaaS application connected to its dashboard, extending beyond its G Suite focus.
“Shreyas has a remarkable talent for creating game-changing partnerships and driving ‘outside-the-box’ product development and management strategies that truly move the needle for industry trailblazers like BetterCloud,” David Politis, CEO of BetterCloud said in a statement. “Shreyas’s skills and expertise will be crucial to growing our position as the leader in the unified SaaS management market. We’re ecstatic to have him on board.”
Prior to taking the new role at BetterCloud, Sadalgi was senior vice president of business development at identity and access management company Centrify. Previously, he served as director of business development at network security company Blue Coat (acquired by Symantec).
“As businesses continue to make their way over the initial SaaS adoption hurdle, the proliferation and ubiquitous use of these apps are giving rise to new challenges for IT teams,” said Sadalgi. “Unified operations and management automation is the next critical step for any business looking to scale SaaS adoption. I am thrilled to join a company that is on the forefront of this new wave in unified SaaS management, and look forward to spearheading the expansion of our partner portfolio and the development of the BetterCloud platform to accelerate growth and success.”
