RapidScale is partnering with ScienceLogic to produce a monitoring, performance and security offering for the former’s global managed cloud services.

ScienceLogic provides a hybrid IT infrastructure management platform. The combination allows customers to see “real-time dashboard views of RapidScale managed cloud performance, combined with customer on-premises infrastructure visibility,” RapidScale said.

“We are very excited to be partnering with ScienceLogic for our platform monitoring, event handling and ticketing needs,” said Duane Barnes, RapidScale’s senior vice president of technology. “As we’ve expanded our global platform, our needs have evolved to the point where we need a flexible company to partner with in order to take our feedback and immediately add it into their product development life cycle. ScienceLogic gives us the ability to customize our digital run books to our customers’ exact needs.”

RapidScale says the ScienceLogic platform allows for monitoring the health, status and performance of on-premises customer infrastructure and RapidScale cloud services. Live dashboarding, advanced ticketing and event-driven automation allow customers to maintain a proactive stance for their applications. In addition, real-time visibility into RapidScale server and cloud systems provides insight into how applications thrive and react in the cloud with trending analysis.

RapidScale said ScienceLogic supports its “ability to leverage a solution that can see across the network, server, storage and cloud infrastructure, and up the stack to the application layer.”

“ScienceLogic is very excited to work with RapidScale to bring advanced automation to their operations team, as well as new levels of advanced visibility to RapidScale’s customers across the entire hybrid IT landscape,” said Dave Link, ScienceLogic’s CEO.
