Quest And NetApp Partner For Cloud Services
Quest, a technology management firm that also acts as a master MSP, has inked a partnership to provide cloud services on NetApp’s platform. As enrollees in the NetApp Partner Program for Service Providers, Quest (not to be confused with Quest Software) stands to guide customers through the shift to public, private, or hybrid cloud infrastructure by offering virtual data centers, desktop virtualization, and other solutions.
- Unified Virtual Data Center: Quest can deliver a complete cloud infrastructure-as-a-service platform by way of dedicated hosting, shared hosting, public cloud, or private cloud. They’re also offering customers enhanced service levels.
- Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity: Like other DR solutions, Quest offers tiered plans to help keep enterprise data off-site and easily recoverable in a worst case scenario.
- Desktop Virtualization: Cut down on desktop spending with personalized desktops-as-a-service that grant administrators greater control.
- Virtual Application Development: Developers and ISVs can use a simulated “real-world” environment in the cloud to test and ramp up development of their applications without compromising the main network.
TalkinCloud hears that NetApp is looking to accelerate their channel push ahead of their partner summit later this year. And letting Quest in and getting their own network of VARs and MSPs in on the action seems like a smart way for NetApp to get ahead.
