Microsoft (MSFT) CEO Satya Nadella last week received overwhelming support (70 percent) from our readers who participated in Talkin’ Cloud’s (unscientific) poll.

The remaining 30 percent of voters said it was too early to make a call on how Nadella will work with channel partners. Zero percent of participants did not support Nadella.

Microsoft tapped Nadella, a 22-year company veteran, as CEO at the beginning of February, after months of speculation. Nadella became Microsoft’s third chief executive in its 38-year history. Before taking on his new role, Nadella was executive vice president of the company’s Cloud and Enterprise group.

POLL: Will NSA revelations negatively impact the cloud computing market this year?

Analysts, bloggers and reporters over the past couple of weeks dug through Nadella’s history, attempting to find out how he will lead Microsoft into the new year and years to come. While the industry focused on Nadella and Microsoft, The VAR Guy, Talkin’ Cloud’s sister site, focused on our readers — channel partners.

To find out what Microsoft channel partners thought of the new CEO, TVG reached out to a few partners for comment. Does our poll reflect your view of Nadella?
