Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud service provider (CSP) Peak, formerly known as PeakColo, unveiled a new sales promotion for its Mountain-Moving Storage, a white-label object-oriented storage-as-a-service offering, and backup services to address the cloud storage marketplace.

Peak is offering a competitive migration deal that includes: free data transfer to  Peak’s cloud, free bandwidth (10 Gbps) until all customer data is seeded in Peak’s cloud; and free engineering assistance for migration planning.

Peak founder and CEO Luke Norris said in a prepared statement that the company understands the complexities of managing data, a process that can be daunting and time consuming for customers.

“That’s why we strive to address all types of storage environments and design personalized migration plans for quick deployments – all at cost-effective price points,” he said.

Peak, along with En Pointe‘s collab9, recently signed new cloud offering distribution agreements with Comstor, the Cisco Systems (CSCO)-focused division of value-added distributor Westcon.

The company also agreed to a distribution agreement back in August 2013 with Avnet Technology Solutions‘ (AVT) IT solutions group, aiming to increase the availability of Peak’s cloud services platform via channel partners in the Americas.
