The OS33 Cloud Drive includes one access point for all storage options, and leverages WebDAV so users can connect to their system from any device or application. It also can be used to view and edit Microsoft Office docs in a browser by using Microsoft Office Web Apps across storage platforms.

OS33 CTO Alex Osipov noted OS33 developed Cloud Drive to solve a growing storage problem among its users: they need universal access to their files that cover specific use cases. “The 9-to-5 job is disappearing,” he said. “You don’t just clock out and go home and forget about work. People are working from home and using their own desktops and mobile devices.” So the OS33 Cloud Drive lets users access their IT applications from anywhere on any device, access applications that need high-performance storage but are not ready for cloud or virtualization, as well as legacy applications that can’t be moved to the cloud. Plus, businesses with several branches can standardize and collaborate between those branches.
