New Relic is helping businesses mature their observability practices by expanding its partner ecosystem to more than 100 integrations.

In 2022, the all-in-one observability platform has grown its technology partner ecosystem by over 25%. It now offers integrations with more than 500 cloud services, open source tools and enterprise technologies. This empowers every engineer to start with observability in minutes. New Relic has added new quick-start contributions from developer tools such as Atlassian, AWS, CircleCI, Confluent, Jenkins, JFrog and Snyk.

Riya Shanmugam is New Relic’s global channel chief.

“Observability in its broadest term merely means keeping an eye out on the end-to-end stack across the board, top to bottom, to see where data is flowing,” Shanmugam said. “It’s to be able to not just reactively respond to events. It’s being proactive and preventive in how infrastructure and application, and network and security are done in the cloud environment.”

New Leadership

New Relic also announced the appointment of former Splunk and HPE executive Gal Tunik as vice president of cloud and product partnerships. Tunik will lead New Relic’s growing relationships with cloud providers, manage product integrations and oversee joint revenue generation with cloud partners.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in November.

“With Gal on board, we look forward to extending this commitment and continuing to work with the industry’s best and most popular tools, technologies and cloud providers to help every engineer build a mature observability practice with New Relic,” said New Relic SVP of strategy and experience Peter Pezaris. “Today’s engineers are leveraging observability alongside best-of-breed tools to accelerate their customers’ most important business initiatives.”

This includes cloud adoption, application modernization and digital customer experience.

“We see the incredible value in providing a vast ecosystem of partnerships and integrations that help engineers grow their observability practices,” Pezaris said. “This is alongside the tools and technologies they already know and love.”

According to New Relic’s 2022 Observability Forecast, most organizations expect to have robust observability practices in place by 2025. The most commonly cited technologies driving the need for observability are security (49%) and cloud-native application architectures (47%). Multicloud migration (42%) and adoption of open source technologies (39%) are also drivers. To solve this challenge, New Relic expanded its partner ecosystem. This includes dozens of new integrations with cloud services, open source tools and developer and security technologies.

New Programs

In the last 15 months, New Relic launched its Instant Observability ecosystem of integrations and pre-built observability resources. And it launched a new global partner program for cloud providers, channel partners, managed service providers and technology. The company also expanded its commitment to multicloud observability with expanded partnerships and integrations with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
