NetSuite (N) announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Tableau Software (DATA) in order to link Tableau’s instant visual analytics to the NetSuite cloud.

According to the announcement, the new feature enables businesses to easily apply Tableau’s analytics to NetSuite data. Businesses can use Tableau’s data discovery and visual analytic tool to combine NetSuite with non-NetSuite data sources to identify business trends and opportunities.

The joint solution allows users to leverage ERP, CRM and ecommerce data to identify trends and key performance indicators. It also features data visualization and interactive mapping.

“This integration opens new doors for joint customers to understand and act on NetSuite data in real-time using best-in-class analytics,” Dan Jewett, VP of Product Management at Tableau Software said in a statement. “Robust analytics is a hallmark of leading-edge companies, and this makes it faster and simpler for NetSuite customers to take full advantage of Tableau to drive the business.”

NetSuite said the new export feature is available at no extra cost and gives joint customers the ability to export data from NetSuite into a native Tableau file format which can be used by both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.

“Both NetSuite and Tableau are committed to meeting rising demand among customers for out-of-the-box integration that would let them go from data to insights in a few clicks,” said Guido Haarmans, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Technology Partners at NetSuite. “Teaming up with Tableau and our joint development efforts addresses this demand and enhances the value of our respective technologies.”
