ReadyNAS will now ship with Acronis‘ Backup And Recovery software pre-installed. The target market for the ReadyNAS with Acronis will be any business looking for a simple and fast backup solution for both virtual and physical environments. It’s also designed to be affordable, so the SMB and mid-market spaces are most likely to benefit from this offering. There’s a ‘set and forget’ mentality built into the device, with the software designed to take over backup routines traditionally done by IT admins.
