Mirial ClearSea Video Conferencing Enters the Cloud

Mirial, a Milan, Italy-based video conferencing provider, has taken its ClearSea desktop and mobile video conferencing solution to the cloud. Mirial launched ClearSea in mid-march 2010 in order to meet the demand for video conferencing space in the enterprise, healthcare and education verticals.

But Mirial read the same writing on the wall that so many other companies have recently read: companies are moving to the cloud. So Mirial decided to move with the trend. ClearSea in the cloud eliminates all firewall and networking issues, according to Mirial. It features content sharing and can connect to any H.323 endpoint/SIP including LifeSize, Polycom, and Cisco/Tandberg, and can connect from any PC, Mac, iOS or Android device running on a 3G or 4G network.

A little background on ClearSea: The video conferencing solution was developed over a ten year period. Mirial markets ClearSea as a turn-key video conferencing solution for businesses. ClearSea is still available as an on-premise solution for clients not using a cloud platform. Clients can purchase Mirial’s ClearSea solution either through a monthly subscription or through a 12 or 24 month pre-paid package. The package includes a free version, a professional version and a premium version of ClearSea.
