MicroCorp has welcomed seven new providers to its lineup: Access Point, Aryaka, Broad Sky Networks, Expereo, Office Depot, RingCentral, and vMox.

The company now holds more than 80 providers in its portfolio. Not long before Wednesday’s announcement, the master agent added vendors such as CoreSite, Nextiva and TPx.

MicroCorp’s Phil Keenan

Phil Keenan, MicroCorp’s president, tells Channel Partners that “in our world of provider consolidations, it’s critical that our partners diversify what they offer in services and providers.”

“Additionally, we steadily see that deals have become more complex, and the demand for providers with a specific focus has grown,” he said. “The addition of new providers always allows our partners to go wider and deeper into their existing accounts.”

For example, vMox represents an opportunity for MicroCorp’s partners to introduce new tools in life-cycle management to their customers carrying any type of product inventory, Keenan said.

“Aryaka’s SD-WAN-as-a-service adds a fully managed SD-WAN offer into a partner’s portfolio, something that will be of great appeal to many customers,” he said. “Office Depot is simply a market disruptor with IT as a service that will reach small business and quickly rise to the midmarket. The growth of our portfolio is reflective of the customer demands our channel partners face when designing custom solutions. The addition of providers in the Internet of Things (IoT), SD-WAN, IT as a service and UC shows you exactly where our growth is.”

vMox uses optimization technology, automated processes and employees to scrutinize every element of a client’s corporate mobility environment daily to “reduce costs, increase efficiency and provide real-time visibility and reporting.” The vMox client portal uses APIs with carrier and client systems designed to streamline management activities, including inventory tracking, device procurement and service moves, adds and changes.

“Partnering with an industry leader like MicroCorp is an integral part of our corporate growth strategy,” said Mike Saxby, vMox vice president. “Our team is anxious to help their partner community grow their businesses and deliver mobility savings and transformative life-cycle management solutions to their clients.”

MicroCorp plans to continue to grow its portfolio in the areas of SD-WAN, security and IoT, Keenan said.
